Thank you for bestowing on me your intelligence, humour, compassion and strength. I wish we had the opportunity to spend more time together so I could learn and grow with you and find out more about who you really are. I realise more every day how much of you is within me and often my actions and words remind me of you. I wish things had been different for you mum, you deserved so much more. I hope you felt how much you were loved and how much I admired and respected you even if I didn’t show it as I should have. You’re never far from my thoughts and I’m still working on the sadness and regret from not being able to give you everything you deserved and needed. I feel you in every wonderful thing I see, waves, rainbows, beautiful birds, anything I wish you could have been with me to see. I love you mum, I always will xxx
