Hi mum, I have some bad news I’m afraid. You’re the first person I’m telling. I’d prefer to tell you in person I think, I’m not sure though. I wonder how you’d respond. I’ll never know. But anyway, so basically I had a skin biopsy and it came back as melanoma. Doctor thinks they’ve caught it early and I need to see another surgeon to take a larger excision to make sure they get it all. So at the moment it’s likely going to be okay, so doesn’t look like I’m joining you just yet! Just wanted to tell you. I’ll work on telling still alive humans next. I so wish you were one of them. I love you mum. Would love a hug right now xxx
